California Land Surveyors Association - San Diego Chapter

Welcome, San Diego.

The goal of the California Land Surveyors Association is to promote and advance the surveying profession, support the common good and welfare of its members, uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and practice, and increase public understanding of our work. CLSA represents all land surveyors—employees and proprietors, in both the public and private sectors.

San Diego is one of the most diverse and technically demanding regions in the nation for land surveying. From rugged canyons and steep mesas to coastal bluffs, military installations, deserts, and one of the busiest international borders in the world, surveyors here operate at the intersection of complex terrain, evolving technology, and a rapidly growing region.

Surveying in San Diego supports everything from neighborhood subdivisions to multimillion-dollar infrastructure programs, environmental preservation efforts, and longstanding historical resources. The work of local surveyors plays a vital role in shaping the communities we live in and ensuring the integrity of the region’s land records for generations to come.
